Welcome to Columbine Homemakers for Independent Living, otherwise known as "C.H.I.L." We are committed to serving the pioneers of our community.  Our mission is to provide services to the senior and disabled adult community with potential to stay in their own homes independently and safely in a dignified manner.   We have been busy, helping our clients stay in their homes, while preparing for some great fundraisers to keep our program going.  Many thanks to the Aspen Valley Community Foundation and the Aspen Valley Medical Foundation for their support of our program.  Keep your eyes open for special events coming soon!

What is CHIL?
We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) agency.  The Homemaker Program has been in existence in the valley since 1996.  The program was created because people like you wanted a service to help them stay at home, rather than having to live elsewhere.
What do you do?
We provide homemaker services, such as light housecleaning, grocery shopping, meal making, help with bathing, and assistance with bill paying.
Who do you serve?
We serve seniors 60 years or older, and disabled adults, 18 years and older from Aspen to Parachute.  We provide these services on a sliding fee, based on your income.  That way almost anyone can afford  these
Services.
