Wellness Clinics Columbine offers a series of senior wellness clinics throughout the valley every week. A CNA trim toenails, check blood pressure, assess circulation, and give foot massages. Persons found to have circulatory or foot problems are referred to physicians for further care. Physical and Occupational therapists provide education about ways to prevent heart and lung disease as well as fall prevention and other topics. Clinics are made possible by grants from Garfield County and the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation. There is no charge for the clinics but donations are gratefully accepted.
